SIGN UP FOR TEXT MESSAGES

NCS offers a texting program to receive texts for important information. This is also where we inform school dismissal for inclement weather, early dismissals, or school-wide reminders if something major is happening.
Parents must OPT IN EACH YEAR to receive the texts. To be added to the data base text ncstrojans to 955-77. You will receive a notification indicating you have been added.
TSSAA REQUIRES ATHLETES and SPECTATORS TO ANSWER QUESTIONS WEEKLY

Students playing JV and Varsity sports are asked to answer the above COVID symptom screening questions.

If a student answers yes, to any of the questions they should see a medical provider.
Procedure for Student Exposure or Testing Positive for COVID-19:

The parent should call the school and ask to speak with our school nurse, Mitzi Phillips.

The school nurse will talk with the parent (working with the Health department and administration) through the above chart to determine how long the student should be out.

The student's identity will be kept confidential.

The school will do contact tracing and notify other students/teacher of an exposure. Exposure is defined as within 6 feet for greater than 15 minutes.

If quarantine is recommended the nurse will work with the family on their return to school.
The student(s) will remotely learn while in quarantine. The family will arrange pick up of needed items from school.
DAILY ARRIVAL PROCEDURES

All students will have their temperature checked before entry into the building. Students should physically distance while waiting for temperature check and entry. (Students in 1-12 should have masks on upon arrival.)

PK, JK, and SK student arrival only
we do ask that parents to walk the child to the preschool door for your child's temperature to be checked. We request that you only send one parent to walk the child up and that parent needs to wear a mask.

1st-6th grade students
will walk up the main walkway to the front doors- there
