What’s the Big Parenting Plan?
|
|
...after all, we are responsible for raising the next generation...
|
In the midst of the daily scramble, joy, frustration, amazement, little disagreements, hilarious moments –do we make time to consider and structure our family's over-arching guidelines for the desired outcome 18-21 years down the road?
What’s the plan for guiding our high energy, non-stop talkers, our quiet introverts, our warrior-leaders, our budding scientists, our forest/ocean/animal/bird loving naturalists, our singers/actors/dancers, our talented athletes children to a successful launch into adulthood with character, wholesome values, passionate interests and a drive to chart their own lives, to contribute to the world?

Enjoy the family this weekend,

January is Positive Parenting Month!
“Following the blur of the holidays, this is a great way to reconnect with the elements of parenting that are so important, and don’t cost anything – talking to your children, playing with them, and giving them a hug for no reason other than they are huggable,” Bradley Thomas, CEO of Triple P America.
Triple P offers a simple, practical toolkit of parenting strategies.” David Brody, Executive Director of First 5 Santa Cruz County.
