Creative Works Exhibition and Competition 2019
Calling all creatives! Danville Community College is presenting an exhibition of student creative works. These creative pieces will be on display in the Mary M. Barksdale Library from April 8 through April 24. Current students, faculty, and staff from Danville Community College are invited to display their creative pieces of work. A completed registration form will be required for each item to be exhibited.

Entry Deadline: April 3 • 4 p.m.

Phi Theta Kappa Spring Induction
Danville Community College (DCC) students were inducted into the Upsilon Phi Chapter of International Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa during a ceremony on Friday, February 22, in Oliver Hall.

Spring inductees were Rashedra Barley, Connor Barnett, Kathryn Bezue, William Briscoe, Zachary Buckley, Andrew Caldwell, Morgan Crews, Austin Edmunds, Dorian Elliott, Angela High, Sabrina Hunter, Haley Jones, Kristy Payne, Cheyenne Shreve, Victoria Thomas, and Paula Perez.

Established by Missouri two-year college presidents in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through honors, leadership and service programming. Today, Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.3 million members and 1,100 chapters located in 50 United States, U.S. territories, Canada, Germany, and Japan. In 1929, the American Association of Community Colleges recognized Phi Theta Kappa as the official honor society for two-year colleges.

Please review the Application Process and obtain an application from the DCC website once you choose Science, Engineering, & Health under Programs, then Practical Nursing or Nursing.
