NEWS & NOTES
Home Learning Plans - Let us know how it's going for your family!

For the past several weeks, as it became apparent that schools and businesses would need to limit and cancel face-to-face activities due to the spread of COVID-19, our faculty and staff have been hard at work implementing our home learning plans using Bloomz, Zoom, Google Classroom and more. This has been a learning experience for all of us! Please let us know how it's going for your family - we welcome your feedback!
Home Learning Photo Challenge

We love seeing what your children are doing at home throughout the day as they work on projects, assignments and free choice activities, so we are kicking off a new photo contest!

Please tag @WilmingtonMontessori in your post on Instagram using #WMSatHome or share your images on our Facebook page. You can also email them to Noel or send them to her via Bloomz. When we return to school, a lucky participant will receive a WMS swag bag as a prize - each new post will count as a new entry in the random drawing!

We can't wait to see what you're working on!
Camp Montessori Early Registration Deadline - Extended to April 15
The Camp Montessori early registration has been extended until April 15.

Please note: Should camp be canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, your payment will be refunded.

Register for five or more weeks of camp per family (e.g., 2 campers x 3 weeks of camp = 6 weeks total)   by April 15 and receive your 10% early registration discount.

HELPFUL RESOURCES
At WMS, we are committed to supporting our entire community through this difficult time. We are working on a new page for our website to serve as a repository for helpful resources and information. In the meantime, here are a few resources you might find useful.

This week, Nurse Kathy is available on Zoom to chat with parents about health concerns at 10 a.m. ( Zoom link) and noon ( Zoom link) daily. These meetings are open to all WMS parents, so please email Kathy if you would like to schedule a time to talk privately.
