Spring Dance Concert:
No Place I'd Rather Be
Thursday-Sunday This Weekend
The St. Pius X Dance program presents the annual Spring Dance Concert:  No Place I'd Rather Be  on March 21 - 24.  This year's performances promise to be some of the best with featured work by Kassandra Taylor Newberry, Robert Gosnell, AJ Paug, and "Pumkin" Harris Byrd.  The Dance Company will show their exceptional range and artistry by performing classical ballet, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. The Dance III, II and I classes will also feature jazz and contemporary choreography.  To complete our show, the audiences will get a chance to see some incredible student choreography by the Dance Company.  Tickets on sale now for $10 each.  Each St. Pius X student receives one free ticket.
Dresden School Supply Drive  Deadline March 22
Our Mothers' Club Dresden Partnership committee has started the Annual School Supplies Collection Drive. Please see the linked flyer
here and help fill a great need at our neighborhood school. Since Dresden is a Title 1 school with mostly lower-income families, many students come to school with no school supplies at all. Needed items are often purchased by the teachers out of their own pockets. The generosity of our St. Pius X families makes a tremendous impact on the students and teachers at Dresden. Collection boxes are located in the Theology classes, Cafeteria and the front hallway near Campus Ministry. Our response has been unusually low so we are extending this drive through March 22.

Spring Blood Drive March 28
The annual Spring Blood Drive will be held Thursday, March 28 in the auxiliary gym.  Be a part of giving the gift of life!

Student sign-ups are this week in the breezeway outside the cafeteria during lunch Monday March 18 - Wednesday March 20. Please encourage your students (age 16+) to participate in this worthy cause. Blood donation counts as a Work of Mercy.

Adults , please consider volunteering to help support this event. We welcome your donations of time or supplies! Click here  to sign-up.

Please email us at [email protected] with any questions.
