Eboo Patel Out of Many Faiths: Religious Diversity and the American Promise
Patel is a leading voice in the movement for interfaith cooperation and the founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), a national nonprofit organization working to make interfaith cooperation a social norm. He founded IFYC on the idea that religion should be a bridge of cooperation rather than a barrier of division. Patel will explore how America's promise is the guarantee of equal rights and dignity for all, and how that promise is the foundation of America's unrivaled strength as a nation.

Are you looking to make a positive difference in the health of our local streams and nearby habitats? Join Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy for the annual Stream Clean-up! During this event, volunteers will focus on removing trash, tires and other debris from sites located throughout the watershed. Clean-up sites can accommodate a wide range of volunteer numbers so feel free to bring your friends, family, or co-workers to help you tackle your site!

The Lenape Challenge is a unique adventure race that combines 5 miles of off-road running with 2.5 miles of paddling on the Perkiomen Creek. The course starts at the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy in Schwenksville and takes you on a romp through fields, woods and up over the slopes at Spring Mount. After a wicked climb and maddening decent, you'll hit the Perkiomen Creek for an epic 2.5 miles of boulder dodging and rapid running. You'll finish the race with a dash to the finish! Presented by The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy.

Scott Stephenson, President and CEO of the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia. 
The Community Music School of Trappe will provide live music, and there will be a silent auction featuring works of art made by local craftspeople and unique experiences at area historic sites and museums. All proceeds from this event directly support the restoration of the historic Frederick Muhlenberg house; projects for this year include restoring the cooking fireplace and front door. PVSD Seeks Donations From The Community
Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking financial support to build a Viking statue on the Perkiomen Valley High School Campus that will stand as a permanent representation of our school district pride and also mark the district's 50th anniversary . The project costing $85,000 was recently approved by the school board. PV is now seeking funds to raise the money in time for a Spring 2019 dedication.
