ENTRY TO RUGGERFEST:  T here will be 3 spectator gates - one at the front of Area B, one at the rear of Area B, one at the front of Area A (see map). The SportsPlex venue is large and to be sure there are breaks in the fence folks could hike around to and use to get in and avoid the $5 fee. First, this is a crappy thing to do. All funds generated (100%) at Ruggerfest go to supporting youth rugby through the North Carolina Youth Rugby Union - a volunteer non-profit. Please, simply pay your $5 at the gate and enjoy your day. Second, if spectators are caught entering through breaks in the fence or sneaking in without paying - they will be ejected from the tournament. All paying spectators will get a lovely paper wristband to show they love rugby and love supporting the growth of youth rugby.

TEAM TENT CITY AREAS: Teams will have areas to set up a tent and make a team snack/ meet-up/ chill-out area. Since there are two separate playing areas this year we have spots in each area - AREA B, SPOT 8 (Varsity & U14 Team), AREA A, SPOTS 50 & 51 (Everyone else).  CLICK HERE for the field map which outlines where tent areas are. 

Other notes:

• Spectators found to be abusive, in areas they should not be after a warning, or otherwise unruly at our youth sports event will be ejected from the facility. Please, keep in mind this is a youth event and setting a positive example for children should be at the front of everyone's minds.

• No alcohol or tobacco products of any kind are allowed in the facility (including vapes). This is a county-owned park. Both park rangers and police will be in the area to monitor non-rugby infractions.   
   
• Pets, including service animals, are NOT permitted on the playing surfaces as this poses a health risk to athletes. There ARE lots of areas in the park that are fine for pets - pets must be on a leash.
