Hopefully you and your water feature survived Wednesday's "bomb cyclone" with minimal damage! We may still have a few Colorado spring storms in our future but very soon it'll be time to prepare your water feature for the season ahead. To help you get ready for spring, this month's newlsetter has an article on spring cleaning, a list of our upcoming seminars and educational opportunities, a new product update and this month's Aquascape video. Spring Cleaning

Spring is simply the most exciting time of year. Birds return from their southern migration, furry critters waken from their winter slumber, trees are budding, and your pond fish are stretching and warming up their fins for summer swimming! The best thing you can do for the health of your pond this season is to clean your pond - whether it's a deep cleaning or just a bit of sprucing up.

Take a good look at your pond and ask yourself, "Does my water feature need a full clean-out this season, or does it just need to be tidied up a little?" To help you decide, it's worth knowing what to look for. First, if there is a layer of "crud" at the bottom of the pond and the water is dark in color, it would be a good idea to do a full clean-out. On the other hand, if there is just a small amount of debris that you can stir up and capture with a net and the water looks clear, a little tidying up is all that's in order. If you're going the full clean-out route, plan on spending a half to a full day to complete a pond clean-out. A Pondless® Waterfall will take considerably less time. You can, of course, hire a Certified Aquascape Contractor to clean your water feature for you if it's a bigger job than you're ready to tackle on your own. Either way, we've got you covered!

Homeowner Build A Pondless Waterfall Day April 13, 2019

Sign up for our one day seminar and get your hands dirty! Learn how to create a paradise in your own backyard working side-by-side with the pros from True Pump! This unique "hands-on" training session will show you how to build your very own water feature. Seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. and working together we will create a beautiful pondless waterfall and stream by 4:00 p.m. Class size is limited to 15 people so sign up today! Class fee is $30 and is fully refunded with the purchase of a pondless kit within two weeks of the class. Lunch and beverages are provided.

Fountainscape Seminar April 27, 2019

Learn how to create a piece of paradise that will fit almost anywhere! This "hands-on" training session will show you how to build your very own fountainscape using the easy to install Aquascape AquaBasin. Seminar begins at 9:00 a.m. and working together we will create a beautiful, bubbling fountain by 11:00 a.m. Class size is limited to 15 people so sign up today! Class is free but pre-registration is required.

Homeowner Build A Pond Day May 11, 2019
