Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 27, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at The Emanuel Synagogue, 160 Mohegan Drive, West Hartford.

Interment will follow at the Beth Israel Cemetery, 51 Jackson Street in Avon.

Following interment, the family will receive friends at the Murphy residence, 11 Steeplechase, Avon, CT, with minyan at 7 p.m., and will sit shiva at the Murphy residence on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m., with minyan at 7 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Social Action Fund at The Emanuel Synagogue or to the Department of Rheumatology Scleroderma at Boston Medical Center-Office of Development, 801 Massachusetts Avenue, 1st floor, Boston, MA  02118 or at www.bmc.org/giving.
