  • Met our goal for raising $30,000 in matching funds for the Hispanic-serving institutions endowment fund.
  • Received over 1,100 scholarship applications from 491 unique applicants.
  • Awarded over $60,000 in scholarships.
  • Provided $10,000 in emergency aid to students.
  • Provided over $6,700 to local, community-based organizations through our sponsorship efforts.
  • Provided over $3,000 in support of Chabot programs and events such as Earth Week, International Night, Chabot Athletics Hall of Fame, and Flex Day professional development activities for Chabot faculty and classified professionals.

Thank you! Your support made this possible, and we look forward to expanding support to our students and community this upcoming year.

This Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2019, we hope you consider making a donation to help support Chabot College students and programs. Any amount, big or small, can truly help make a difference!

CHABOT GRADUATING CLASS OF : 2017
MAJOR : Administration of Justice
CURRENT ENDEAVORS: "After I graduated, I continued to be a student assistant at Chabot College and went on to achieve my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology, graduating summa cum laude, May 2019, from California State University, East Bay. I love Chabot so much that I desire to remain connected. Currently, I work in the Administration of Justice Department as a Professional Expert. I coordinate a grant awarded to the ADMJ Department by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training to offer our ADMJ 42 Leadership and Integrity course to current law enforcement. As I continue to work at Chabot, I will be starting a Master’s program at the University of Cincinnati in January 2020. My graduate work will be based in Criminal Justice with a concentration of corrections and offender rehabilitation. My goal is to work with incarcerated individuals and assist them with their rehabilitation and reentry into society. I plan to pursue my doctoral degree one day!"

MEMORABLE CHABOT MOMENT : "I would have to say that my entire Chabot College experience is memorable. In a sense, I restarted my life at Chabot College by being a great role model to my child, finding my passion, and being a student/student assistant on campus. I absolutely loved working for the CalWORKs Program, and the Administration of Justice Department as a student assistant. I am extremely grateful to continue to grow while working at Chabot and continue to make memories with people that will be in my life for years to come."

ADVICE FOR FUTURE ALUMNI : "Always be sure to utilize the amazing resources on campus for students – it is absolutely okay to ask for help. I am extremely grateful for the resources I had and the programs I was a part of as a single parent. In my opinion, to pass a class, do the following things: attend every class, build a rapport with your professor, and turn in every assignment regardless if it’s your best work or not!"

Chabot College FRESH Food and Life Pantry
We have a freezer donation to celebrate! A huge thank you to The Home Depot for donating an commercial-grade freezer to Chabot College's FRESH Food and Life Pantry. A freezer enables the FRESH Food and Life Pantry to distribute perishable food items - in addition to non-perishable food, hygiene, clothing, and other basic necessity items already distributed - to students and the community.

The next step is to furnish the FRESH Pantry with commercial-grade refrigerators and shelving units to meet the needs of Chabot students and the community. If you or someone you know may be able to contribute, please contact: FreshPantry@chabotcollege.edu
