A new student publication, The Chessboard , will be circulated for the first time this week. The publication is sponsored by the Center for Ethics and Public Engagement, and will contain student-written essays on a wide variety of social, political, and cultural topics. Its goal is to stoke campus-wide conversations about contemporary issues. Copies will be distributed around campus, particularly in the Union. Don't Let Flu Give You the Holiday Blues!! It is not too late to get a flu shot! You may walk into Health Service at anytime during office hours and receive the flu vaccine. Flu season peaks between December and February so get vaccinated now! #FIGHTFLU

Shuttle Service Announcement: Implementation of the new reservation policy begins with the January 6 return shuttles. Reservations made less than 4 days (96 hours) prior to the date of departure have a late fee of $10 non-refundable. Ticket purchases close 2 days (48 hours) before the shuttle leaves. PLEN Seminar for Women in STEM, January 14-18, 2019 in Washington, D.C. While women’s participation in the STEM field has grown in recent years, men still far outnumber women across the sector, especially in physics, engineering, and computer science. The PLEN Women in STEM Policy seminar offers undergraduate women a valuable opportunity to hear firsthand from senior women in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
