Who hasn't dreamed of a comfortable and secure retirement? (some of you are already living the dream!).  Baby Step #4 is to invest 15 percent of your household income into Roth IRAs and pre-tax retirement plans.  While it is easier to start early so you can experience the magic of compound interest, it is never too late to begin this important step for a successful retirement. Whether you're a Nerd or a Free Spirit, by changing your behavior and with the Lord's guidance you will be well on your way to a life of Financial Peace!

Every Person, Every Sunday
Vital Training to Make our Guests Feel Welcome
Saturday, March 30th from 9am to 12pm
Fellowship Hall

A first impression is vitally important. Each week, guests arrive on our campus looking for a church home. We want to take advantage of that opportunity to add to our church family by creating a culture of welcoming and hospitality.

So how do we do that?

On Saturday, March 30, we will welcome Jan Floro, our VCI Consultant to present a workshop entitled "Every Person, Every Sunday." Here she will give us tips and tricks for talking to strangers and making them feel welcome.

We are looking for at least 100 people to attend and learn how to recognize someone new, make them feel comfortable, and connect them with a relevant ministry.

Some quick facts:
  • People do not typically join a church without visiting first
  • Guests represent 100% of our church's potential growth
  • Most members think their church is welcoming, but most guests do not
Join us for this important training!

RSVP with Sabrina Jones at bcnursery@bearcreekumc.org if you require nursery/childcare.

If you have any questions,  contact Joy Quandahl by calling 281-793-5615

Thank You!
Join us in Prayer for The United Methodist Church

Also, thank you to each person in our BCUMC Congregation that volunteered to pray during the hourly time slots from 6am to 6pm for The United Methodist Conference Sunday through Tuesday.
