Your Academic Success Survey
The ‘Your Academic Success (YAS)’ survey is part of a longitudinal cohort study being conducted by the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University that aims to look at how undergraduate students are thriving academically. The findings of the study will help inform the design and delivery of key academic support services.
The survey will be open until
March 18, 2019
, takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and all answers are confidential. Students who fill out the survey can choose to enter a draw to

? Summer course enrolment is now underway! Keep in mind that courses can fill up quickly so if you’re planning to take a summer course, we suggest enrolling on SOLUS as soon as possible.
When searching for an online summer class on SOLUS, make sure to change the term to “2019 Summer” and the Course Career from Undergraduate to “Undergraduate Online”.

Further, the Fine Arts program is launching a new fine art course specifically for non-fine arts students. If you are interested you can register on SOLUS now, however please note this course is being offered
on campus.
ARTF 101/3.0
New! ARTF 101 (Fundamentals of Drawing and Painting) is a newly-offered class to all students, except BFAH students, this Summer 2019 (May to June) taking place on main campus. Check SOLUS for details as there is a materials fee.

QUIP Internship Opportunities
QUIP internships
are all 12 or 16 months in length, paid, and full-time. Students who complete an internship through QUIP graduate with a “Professional Internship” designation on their degree and transcript.

Intern, Marketing and Student Support
- Reporting to the Coordinator, Marketing and Communications (undergraduate), and the Registration Services Manager for the Faculty of Arts and Science, the incumbent will support activities for current and prospective students related to communications and recruitment. Key activities will include first year student advising regarding course and program selection, events and presentations for prospective students, and writing social media content to reach both audiences.

Intern, Communications and Market Research
- Reporting to the Assistant, Marketing and Communications for the Faculty of Arts and Science, the intern is responsible for supporting market research, analytics, and communications related to student recruitment and retention. The position requires independent decision-making, relationship-building, marketing, and project management skills, a results-based sense of initiative, and the ability to understand analytics and metrics.
