"Les Miserables" Opens Tonight!
Join our talented Wilson Theater Company as they present the musical “Les Miserables,” based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo. Les Miserables is the story of Jean Valjean, a prisoner who breaks parole to create a new life for himself while evading the grip of a police inspector, Javert. Set in post-revolutionary France, the story reaches resolution against the background of the June Rebellion. 

The show opens TONIGHT, March 14, and runs through Saturday, March 16. You can still purchase tickets online , but hurry! They are going fast!
9th Annual Baseball & Softball Fundraiser
Join us on Friday, March 15, from 4:30 pm- 8:00 pm in the Wilson High School Upper House Cafeteria for the annual Wilson Baseball and Softball Pasta Fundraiser. Tickets are $10 each, and take out is available. Make it dinner and a show! Grab a great dinner and head over to catch Friday’s performance of Les Miserables! What a way to support our Wilson students!
The 6th Annual Wilson Iron Chef Competition & Benefit Auction

Get your tickets NOW for the 6th Annual Wilson Iron Chef Competition & Benefit Auction on Sunday, March 24, 2019, from 1:00-5:00 pm at Wilson High School. During this exciting family-friendly event, watch three local chefs face-off during a timed competition. Using 3 secret ingredients, each chef will create a unique dish, earning the title of 2019 Wilson Iron Chef!
 
Restaurants will vie for your vote with samples during the People's Choice Competition. Additional restaurants and food-related businesses will offer tasty treats ranging from entrees to appetizers and desserts. All food samples are included with the cost of admission. You will not leave hungry! Plus, enjoy student performances, auctions, and raffles!

Family Movie Night

Wilson Southern Middle School's BARK Club will be hosting a family movie night on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 6:30, at Southern Middle School. The BARK Club will be showing one movie for middle schoolers (The Greatest Showmen), and another movie in the cafeteria for younger children (Sing). There will be popcorn, soft pretzels, candy, and water, available to buy! Please bring camping chairs and blankets, if you are going to see the movie in the cafeteria.
Wilson School District Athletic Field Parking Reminder
With spring sports officially starting, we wanted to provide a reminder about parking at our high school campus. In an effort to ensure safety for all attendees, as well as, to provide emergency vehicle access, please be advised that the Spring Township Police Department will begin enforcing our designated NO PARKING areas. Signage has been added throughout the campus, so, please, be alert to our designated "no parking" areas, as you attend upcoming events at the high school campus. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of our students, staff, and community members!
Wilson Girls' Volleyball Youth/Elementary Clinic
All Wilson School District 3rd-6th grade girls are invited to attend a FREE instructional volleyball clinic designed to introduce the great sport of volleyball to our youth/ elementary students. This clinic is run by our High School Girls’ Volleyball Coach, Denny Werner, and his staff and players. To pre-register, email Coach Werner at DJNW2309@aol.com and include your child’s name, grade, and school.
Wilson Girls' Volleyball Camp
The Wilson Girls Volleyball camp is a four-day camp that runs from 8:30- 11:30 am, where students of the district learn and develop volleyball skills and techniques to build their game and be exposed to the game of volleyball!

Spring Aquatics 2019
Check out some of the events our Aquatics Departments will be hosting this Spring!

March 18: Wilson Aquatics will resume their evening open lap swim schedule beginning the week of March 18th.

March 19: Starting Tuesday evenings on March 19, WSD Aquatics will offer an ARC Red Cross Life-guarding course. Students interested must be 15 or older by May 21, 2019.

March 25: Aqua Aerobics is back! Classes run approximately one hour in length and are taught by one of the area's top aqua aerobic instructors, Alison Snyder. The combination of cardiovascular and toning exercises, with the addition of the underwater resistance created through movements, will give the participants a full body workout! The schedule will be announced soon!

March 26: Information and registration are now on the web for the 2019 Spring Middle School Mainline Water Polo League. Practices will run Tuesday & Thursday evenings from March 18-May 2, 2019.

April 20: Save the date for the annual pool Easter egg hunt set for April 20, 2019. The open swim and egg hunt event will run from 12-4 pm.

Class of 1979-- 40th Reunion!
The Class of 1979 will hold its 40th Reunion on Saturday, August 3 at 6 pm at Beverly Hills Tavern. RSVP to jeffgregro@comcast.net . Cost $10 per classmate at the door.
“Designer Bag BINGO” Fundraiser to Benefit Literacy Council of Reading-Berks
Enjoy a fun afternoon supporting a great cause! Designer Bag Bingo will be held Sunday, March 17, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the Wilson High School Lower House Cafeteria. Doors open at 1 p.m. Games start at 2 p.m.

There will be 20 games of bingo, raffle prizes, and food. The cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Players should enter at the rear of the building. All proceeds benefit the Literacy Council of Reading-Berks, which teaches English and work skills to those who need assistance in Berks County. Purchase tickets here .
