The deadline for the first decision round of the 2018 ALI Cohort has passed, but it is not too late to " Introduce Yourself" to ALI! Candidates have until April 30 to submit their expressions of interest for consideration in the second decision round.

Sutapa Banerjee (2015) is bringing a gender lens to corporate policies with a course at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA). The course is a continuation of Ms. Banerjee's ALI project work and the first of its kind at IIMA.

Ken Kelley (2015) is helping prepare the world for epidemic outbreaks. Mr. Kelley advised the US Government on its strategic plan for Zika vaccines, and helped develop a business plan for the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations. Mr. Kelley was also selected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering in recognition of his success in developing new vaccines.

Lauren States (2015) is working to open pathways in the tech industry for kids. In a recent article, Ms. States explained the value of strong mentorship in her career and how she hopes to pay it forward for kids today.

Carol Goss (2014) is waging war against poverty in Detroit. Her organization, Warrior Women Against Poverty, is empowering African-American women to escape poverty and become more self-sufficient. For their efforts, the organization was recognized as WXYZ Detroit's " Persons of the Week."

Paul Irving (2010) has discovered the best cities for your 'anti-retirement.' Mr. Irving, the chairman of the Milken Institute Center for the Future of Aging, appeared on CNBC to discuss what metropolitan areas are best for successful aging.

Charles Bolden (2009) received the 2017 Klass Lifetime Achievement Award from Aviation Week. Mr. Bolden was recognized for his accomplishments as a US Marine Corps aviator, NASA Astronaut and the 12th administrator of the US space agency.

Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter (HBS) has some advice for embattled ride-sharing company Uber. In a recent NPR interview, Professor Kanter offered insights to the CEO of the fast-growing startup.

Professor Iris Bohnet (HKS) is working on experiments that explore how job listings can be designed to attract interest from both sexes. Professor Bohnet was featured in a Financial Times article on ways that vocabulary and imagery can attract or deter female jobseekers.

Professor Forest Reinhardt (HBS) convened a remarkable group of speakers and presenters for the 2017 Climate Change Deep Dive. Professor Reinhardt served as the Climate Change Deep Dive Chair and led ALI Fellows through the informative two-day conference.
