Last summer, Luther students
Anila Bano '20, Rebecka Green '18, and Sthela Gun Holly Hanitrinirina '19, participated in a leadership conference in Pakistan, Peace Scholar program in Norway, and a Davis Projects for Peace in Madagascar. Come and hear them discuss their amazing experiences. CEPE resident Gaone Masire '83, daughter of the former president of Botswana, will moderate the panel, and hopefully inspire your own ideas for international engagement.

May 1, 2019, Professor James Hansen will give the David J. Roslien Lecture on Science and Leadership. Hansen’s testimony before congress in 1988 brought the issue of climate change to the world’s attention. He has spent his career at NASA and Columbia University warning the international community about the perils of failing to act. Come hear him reflect on his life-long quest to move world leaders to action at 7:00 p.m. in the Center for Faith and Life.
