An innovative performance
dramatizing the life of musician Nadia Boulanger, once called "the most influential teacher since Socrates," will take the stage
at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 27, in the Recital Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. Following Boulanger as she overcame family tragedy and the French music establishment, "Nadia" is a tour-de-force of storytelling intertwined with chamber music.
Celebrating the rich diversity
of contemporary imaginative writers, Luther College is hosting the Luther College Writers Festival Friday and Saturday, September 28-29. The weekend includes keynote addresses, featured writers, readings, panels, a book sale and more. To register for the event and view the complete schedule,

Nationally acclaimed storyteller
, poet and musician David Gonzalez will present "The Power of Your Own Story" artist residency Friday and Saturday, September 28-29. The residency includes a public performance, along with workshops for Luther students, faculty, staff and community members. Events are open to the public with no charge for admission. Congratulations to Luther student Asha Aden
on receiving the Interfaith Youth Core Rising Star award at the 2018 Interfaith Leadership Institute in Chicago this past August. Asha was one of 2 recipients to receive an IFYC Campus Leadership
Award. Asha will be speaking in an Interfaith Storytelling Chapel on Friday, September 21, 10:30-10:50 a.m., in the CFL. Join us this Friday for Chapel and a brief reception in the CFL lobby before and after Chapel to honor Asha.
