Weekly Update #26
March 13, 2020
Devotional Thought-
Hebrews 11:31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.

Rahab was a woman who trusted in her Lord. Like you and I, she was not worthy to be a member of God’s family because of being a sinful human being. But, God in his grace and mercy worked saving faith in her heart and that had an enormous impact on her life. Her faith wanted to serve the Lord and gave thanks to God. She did so in her expression of faith, in her care for her family, in protection of some strangers, in keeping her promises.

God has blessed us with the same gracious gift of faith worked in our hearts through the powerful message of the gospel. As we continue on our race marked out for us, let's make the most of our opportunities to give thanks to God for his goodness and mercy in Christ.
