Lent 2019
Lent is a season of reflecting on our own mortality and brokenness. It is an opportunity to discern what God is inviting us to subtract from our lives rather than add more to our lives. It is a season to journey with Jesus to the cross, dying to our egos and anticipating the new life that will come from that kind of death. This Lent we will be following the Lectionary each Sunday, specifically the gospel texts. The Lectionary can be found
