Center For Advanced Dentistry Corona Virus Update
Dear Valued Patient,

The foundation of our dental practice is our long-term, honest, and trusting relationship with you, our patient. Our teams work hard on every visit to provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable and appreciated. Every member of our team has been trained to ensure our facility exceed expectations on cleanliness and sterilization.

Our office is open and we are available to see you and your family. We understand and are aware, with all the news on the coronavirus(COVID-19), some of you might be nervous or have concerns about a visit to the dentist, at this time.

We wanted to share with you what we are doing to provide an environment that is safe and allows you to continue with your appointments as scheduled:

  • We have taken a proactive stance since the beginning to be very transparent and forward-facing with communication with our teams and have thoughtfully followed WHO(World Health Organization) and CDC(Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) best practices
  • We have doubled our already stringent guidelines on cleaning, sterilizing and disinfecting all common and patient areas
  • We have asked any employee or patient who is not feeling well or showing any sign/symptoms to stay home

Some additional steps we would like to reinforce and recommend for your continued health and to prevent the spread of all respiratory viruses include:
  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
  • Consider alternatives to shaking hands.
  • Unless you are sick with cough, sneezing and fever, it is not advised to wear a mask.

With so many news stories, it’s understandable to be concerned about the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Please know that the precautions our dentist/team already take every day to prevent the spread of infection in his or her practice also helps prevent the spread of COVID-19.

If you are ill with flu-like symptoms, you should reschedule your appointment.
If you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution, wait 14 days until you see your dentist to make sure you have not caught the coronavirus.
If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment.

It’s important to know that the majority of people infected with the coronavirus experience flu-like symptoms and then recover. Most people do not develop serious respiratory complications.
Visit  the CDC’s website  for the latest information on COVID-19.

The safety and well-being of our patients and teams will remain paramount for our organization. If you have any additional questions or concerns please call us directly and speak to any of our trusted teammates or providers.

Best,
The Team of Dr. Patel & Dr. Corbett
