  • March 13: All SPS schools will be closed effective tomorrow, Friday, March 13th, 2020 until further notice
  • March 13: 7th grade field trip permission slip + money were due to Ms. DiNardo - contact her with questions about field trip
  • March 17: St. Patrick's Day - Wear Green
  • March 20: Rock Your Socks Day in support of World Down Syndrome Day
  • March 25: Early Release
  • March 26: Jersey Day
  • March 27: 7th grade field trip to see Mulan (PG-13) and McDonalds. Permission slip + money are due by 3/13 to Ms. DiNardo. The cost of the trip is $15 CASH ONLY, students will need to bring additional money for lunch. Contact Ms. DiNardo with questions about field trip

Message from Rippowam Office: COVID-19

Although there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus in Stamford at this time, out of an abundance of caution, all SPS schools will be closed effective tomorrow, Friday, March 13th, 2020 until further notice. We will send a communication with more detailed information later today. Please also make sure you go to the Rippowam website and complete the virtual learning survey to help us prepare for a closing.

We want to determine the ability of our students to access learning from home through technology. We ask that you complete this brief survey before the end of the day TODAY (3/12). English:  https://forms.gle/Up5TpNfW6isPxHVv7

Unfortunately, the Study Skills Workshop this month was canceled.

Heads-Up: We will be looking for volunteers for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th - May 8th) and Rippowam Field Day 2020 (May 20th, rain date 5/22). Sign-Ups will be sent out in the next few weeks.

Thank you for your donations that help us fund important events and mini-grants! To date the PTO has funded special events and 13 teacher's mini-grants.

Cleaning Out Closets?
Drop off your items to Rippowam's textile bins - 2 bins in front and 2 bins in the back of school by Loveland Road. The two front bins were moved over to the parking lot side to make drop off more convenient.
Shop Amazon All Year
