Get Ready for National Child Abuse Prevention Month!
Member News | A Message from
Bart Klika, Prevent Child Abuse America

This April, Do More of What You Love to Create Great Childhoods

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to celebrate the good things our communities do to promote healthy child development and help prevent child abuse and neglect. This April, Prevent Child Abuse America encourages everyone to help support parents and create great childhoods for children in your community by doing things you love. Love to cook? Give a new mom a break by bringing over dinner one night. Love to read? Volunteer for an after-school reading program or book club–you’ll help kids’ reading achievement and spark their imagination. Doing the things you love can help families and communities thrive because when parents do their best, kids can be their best.
