Happy 40th Anniversary Herndon Community Center -
Celebrate with us on Monday, March 25

Time flies by when you are having fun, or should we say providing fun, fitness facilities, recreation activities, and special events. The Herndon Community Center (HCC) has proudly served the residents of the Town of Herndon and surrounding areas for 40 years! Thank you to everyone who has worked out or participated in a HCC class or program. Since the opening of phase 1 of the HCC on March 25, 1979, families and individuals have benefited from an outstanding recreation and fitness facility—so close to home. Our staff takes great pride seeing people of all ages learning and succeeding in our facility and through our programs and services. Staff especially enjoys seeing people who grew up around the HCC and now come back for recreational activities with their own children.

Much of the center’s success was gained through the support of our community partners and
organizations. Over the next year, we will celebrate our partnerships with community groups and our
collaborative accomplishments to provide high quality recreation opportunities to the community.

Let’s celebrate the past 40 years and hope for a healthier and stronger community for the decades to come. Mark your calendar to kick off the celebration on Monday, March 25. All day long, enjoy FREE admission to the HCC and special anniversary activities.
