Norma Jean Ewing Dutt 1930 - 2018

Norma Jean Ewing Dutt
, 88, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, of dementia and emphysema.

She was the oldest of four siblings, born to the late Theodore and Edna (Kintz) Ewing on March 18, 1930 in Wadsworth.  The Ewings were long-time residents of Wadsworth and Norma lived in Ohio for about 20 years, living mostly in Wadsworth and a couple of years in Athens at Ohio University.

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Alfred (Al) Dutt, Jr.; daughter, Nicole Roberts (Dutt);  sons, Eric, Mark and Timothy;  sister, Marjorie Clifford (Ewing);  brother, Thomas Ewing (Tom);  sister-in-law, Rose Ewing and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Ewing at age 72.

Norma began her career as a church secretary for Griffith United Methodist Church, where she met and became friends with many of the congregation. Norma's favorite job at the church was giving food and clothing to the needy families that would stop in for help.

Norma was a warm, friendly person who always welcomed her children's friends into her home on any occasion and always had a smile for everyone. Norma believed that being successful was not about how much money you had, but the lives you can change by helping others. This in the eyes of her children made her the wealthiest women they ever met!
