“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!" (Amos 5:24).
Prayer for God's Justice
I am sure that you are as heartbroken as I am about the recent deaths of two African American men: Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd. It is shocking to see the videos. I am reminded of the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.: "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” We have made progress in this problem of racism in our country, but in other ways we have a long way to go. Join me in especially praying for our African American pastors and their churches. Pray for God’s justice in our country as the prophet Amos prayed, “But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”

In Christ,

Your church should comply with the appropriate health protocols.

If your ministry is considering reopening in the near future, you and your team are probably asking a lot of questions to determine how best to keep your congregation safe:
  • What will the worship schedule look like?
  • What new training will our staff and volunteers need?
  • When will we resume children’s ministry?
As you look forward to resuming in-person operations and worship, now is the time to carefully plan for a safe and effective re-entry.
