Community Heroes Honoured in a quiet ceremony on July 1st.
Through nominations from the community, several individuals and organizations received certificates from Belleville Mayor Panciuk, MP Neil Ellis and MPP Todd Smith.
Following the presentation, a procession of vehicles including fire trucks, police and EMS drove by several long term care homes and Belleville General Hospital in honour of the hard work of our health care workers and the resilience of our seniors.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS
**Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB)
The Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB) gives income support to employed and self-employed individuals who are directly affected by COVID-19 and are not entitled to Employment Insurance (EI) benefits. The CRB is administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).  If you are eligible for the CRB, you can receive $1,000 ($900 after taxes withheld) for a 2-week period. SEE DETAILS

Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB)
gives income support to employed and self-employed individuals who are unable to work because they are sick or need to self-isolate due to COVID-19, or have an underlying health condition that puts them at greater risk of getting COVID-19. The CRSB is administered by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). SEE DETAILS

Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) -

Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA)
New applicants have until JUNE 30 to apply for a $60,000 loan OR
