Message from the Head of School
Dear Goshen families,
It is nice to see parents coming and going for conferences this morning! I hope you are all enjoying your time with your teachers in your child's classroom. Please note that there will be no morning Preschool classes again tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22, as we have our second and final day of conferences. We are looking forward to seeing the children back at school on Thursday!
We had a wonderful showing of parents, grandparents, teachers, students and new friends at our Martin Luther King, Jr. Day service event at the Chester County Food Bank. The dedicated staff at the Food Bank frequently hosts older groups of children in their warehouse, but having a group of Preschoolers was a first. We are honored to be the first! The tour, the presentation and the craft project we completed demonstrated the food bank's mission in a concrete way for our young learners. Check out the Food Bank's
website to learn more about how you can get involved.
Finally, I would like to say, on behalf of all the teachers and staff here at school, thank you to the parents who donated lunch items and packed bags for the conference day brown bag lunches. What a nice treat! These lunches serve as one more reminder that Goshen has the very best parents!
Have a great week!
In Friendship,
Tr. Mimi
