Heather Crossner is counsel in the Los Angeles office of Latham and Watkins and is a member of the firm's Environmental, Land and Resources Department. Heather's practice focuses on land use, environmental and real estate development matters.
She has experience working on large and complex development projects that incorporate legal, political, community and public relations issues. Heather assists land owners and developers through all stages of the entitlement and development process and provides counsel to clients on local planning and zoning regulations and related environmental matters.
"I have worked on projects in the Valley for more than a decade and have a long-standing interest in the economic success of the area. My interest in The Valley Economic Alliance also intersects with my work with River L.A. to revitalize all 51 miles of the L.A. River, including those significant sections in the Valley," said Heather.
Matthew Thornton is Scout Executive of the Western Los Angeles County Council of Boy Scouts of America (WLACC) in Van Nuys. Matthew is a 35-year professional and has been a Scout Executive from coast to coast.
The mission of WLACC is to support community organizations by providing values based recreational and educational programs and activities that develop young people of character.
