Good Morning,
Learning should go on for a lifetime. There is no such thing as "I am too old to learn".
The world is always changing. We all need to keep up with it or we will find ourselves falling further and further behind and less and less relevant.
As most of you know, I teach part time at Indian River State College. It is amazing what I can learn from my students whether it be the technology they use on a daily basis, their perspective on life or even their values. I think I probably learn more from them than they learn from me.
Learning need not be formal education although additional formal education never hurts. It can be as simple as keeping up with technology, watching a few history and science programs on TV or keeping up with what is going on in the world around us. We need not agree but we can, at least, know what others are thinking and why they are thinking it.
Each day, learn something new and exercise that brain. Like every other muscle in our body, not exercised, it becomes stiff, inflexible and full of cobwebs. Stay young, if not in body, at least young at heart.
Have a great week.
Jim
