Stress Relieving Activities
Lots of things in life can be stressful, the secret is finding out what helps relieve that stress. For some people it's working out, for others, it's doing something enjoyable that takes their minds off of the cause of the stress. Another way to relieve stress (and reduce other medical issues) is structured, rhythmic endeavors, such as coloring and crocheting. The activities are effective stress reducers due to the meditative states that they can cause. Order a coloring book and start coloring or follow our crocheting guide to give your mind a break and relieve your stress!
Like coloring or want to try it out as a stress relief tactic? See the link above for adult-style coloring pages to get started if you have a printer, or find a fun coloring book at Amazon or a local book store! No rules apply, so there's no reason to be perfect. Enjoy yourself and see what masterpieces coloring for stress relief produces!
Maybe you want to try out crochet so that you can make items you can use everyday, such as pot holders or blankets? If you click on the video above, it will give you a beginners guide to crocheting. The link above will lead you to the other videos on the crocheting playlist so you can learn beyond the video above.
