Ponte Vedra Blvd parking amendment

The board of County Commissioners held a meeting June 1, 2021 and item 5 on the agenda was in reference to the parking ordinance for Ponte Vedra Boulevard in St. John's County.

Brad Wester, Chair of the MSD gave a presentation, public comment was made and the board chose to vote on the amendment approved by the PVZAB in April. The vote was unanimous in favor of amending the wording of the ordinance. The parking ordinance is now consistent with the rules in affect for all other roads leading in and out of Old Ponte Vedra.
Ponte Vedra Blvd - Corona to Pablo Water Main Improvement Project

JEA has begun replacing the potable water main along Ponte Vedra Boulevard from Pablo Road to Corona Road and Solana Road from Ponte Vedra Boulevard to just past Rutile Drive. This work includes replacing an existing 6-inch cast iron water main with a new 12-inch water main (open cut) along Ponte Vedra Blvd in the northbound travel lane, 4-ft from edge-of-pavement between Corona Rd and Miranda Rd.
Traffic will be impacted as Ponte Vedra Boulevard will be a single lane in sections so plan accordingly.

  • Estimated Completion Date: November 2021
