Harpsichordist Kathryn Reed
, Luther College instructor of music, with the collaboration of fellow Luther College colleagues Heather Armstrong, oboe; Carol Hester, flute; and Philip Borter, Baroque cello, will present a recital featuring Baroque music in the French style. The recital will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 5, in in the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music, Noble Recital Hall.
Culinary archaeologist and lecturer Daniel Serra,
from Malmo, Sweden, will give a presentation titled "Viking Age Food—Looking for a Lost Food Culture" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m. in the F.W. Olin Building, Room 102. Serra's newest book "An Early Meal – a Viking Age Cookbook & Culinary Odyssey" will be available for purchase and signing at the presentation.
“The Appening”
