DCASE, in partnership with Chicago Public Art Group (CPAG), invites Chicagoland-based professional artists or artist teams to submit their qualifications for a painted mural on the exterior wall of the Little Village Branch Library located at 2311 S. Kedzie. The library serves community members from the Little Village and North Lawndale neighborhoods.
Artists and artist teams must have a connection to this community, understand the neighborhoods the library serves and be knowledgeable of the library's history. This opportunity is open to all interested professional artists and artist teams that have experience in creating a community engaged mural.
