#MaskUpWA
BSD has been sharing information related to the state’s #MaskUpWA campaign. Wearing face coverings, along with adhering to physical distancing, is one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of COVID-19. We are encouraging our learning community to follow the current guidelines in order to help stop the spread, which is vital to reopening our buildings and bringing students back to classrooms for in-person learning. The Washington State Department of Health created a short video available in English and Spanish that shows how to properly wear a face covering and how to care for face coverings.

ADDITIONAL BACK-TO-BUSINESS DAY TODAY!
TODAY, Monday, August 24, 9:00 AM–Noon
We know that some families were out of town during the Back-to-Business Days last week. The first make-up time to pick up laptops will take place today at the front entrance to the school. We are working to develop an additional alternate time for families to take care of this at International School before we send laptops over to the district distribution hub at Sammamish High School. Stay tuned.

ONLINE STUDENT DATA VERIFICATION
Parents and guardians are required to verify their student’s information annually. Families will be able to complete this process electronically via ParentVUE. Health updates are included in this data update. Even if nothing has changed for your student, you will need to complete this process to verify that all information is accurate.
The Online Student Data Verification process for the 2020-21 school year will start on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Starting on August 19, parents and guardians can update student information by signing into ParentVUE. Upon logging in the first time, you will be directed to data verification. On August 19, parents and guardians can:
- Update their address online and provide required proofs of address electronically,
- Update student demographic data,
- Manage student emergency contacts,
- Update photo permissions.
Please note: ISPTSA gets its directory information for DirectorySpot (ISPTSA's online directory tool) from the information you supply here. If you opt out of inclusion in directory information, ISPTSA will not have your information for DirectorySpot.

FINALFORMS
All families will need to sign up their student through FinalForms. This is a platform that the district will be using to manage student participation in all clubs, activities, and school/class field trips. Families are required to register their student once each year as this will significantly reduce paperwork and redundancy of forms to be filled out. Look for an email from FinalForms for instructions. While the full amount of trips and activities will be different than the past, we are looking to provide opportunities for students to connect outside of school.

SCHOOL MESSENGER
International and the Bellevue School District uses the School Messenger notification system to send important announcements to parents and guardians via phone calls, emails and text messages. This will be the primary communication system from the school for this year. You can decide how you would like to be contacted by setting up a Contact Manager account. You DO NOT need to create an account to receive notifications. You will automatically receive calls and messages to the phone number and email address we have on file in your student’s profile. By setting up a Contact Manager account, you can adjust how you prefer to be notified. You can also add additional phone, text, and email contact information. Click here to set up your account.
