Our Traditional Summer

This week, we say goodbye to the 2020-21 school year, and begin looking forward to the optimism of 2021-22. The return of proms, assemblies, integrated recesses, and significantly less zoom bring an air of excitement to this August. While we adjust to exiting some of the state’s most restrictive pandemic requirements, our Natomas Unified summer is best referred to as a transitional period between the two school years. We get to leave 2020-21 in the rear view mirror and look forward to a new school year. But first, let’s look ahead at Our Transitional Summer. NUSD 2021 Summer Programs

Natomas Unified has developed a variety of targeted Summer Learning programs as part of our 18-Month Learning Recovery Plan. We recognize that this has been a tough school year like no other, and the needs of our students vary. Some of our students may have a greater need to focus on learning recovery, while others may need time to build relationships, reconnect in a positive way at school, and become physically active. We designed our summer programs with this in mind.

Click here for a brief description of NUSD’s Summer Learning programs and information on how to register if space is still available.
