We're so grateful we could worship together this morning!

We apologize we weren't able to stream due to an internet outage, but we hope you'll take some time to watch the recording of today's 10:30 AM service!

Resources from Worship

A NOTE FOR THOSE ATTENDING WORSHIP IN-PERSON:
A construction project is underway that impacts the elevator and center staircase. Please plan where you park and enter based on your ability to use stairs and if you're able to walk from the lower-level doors to the staircase at the far end of the hallway. We kindly ask that you save upper-level spots for those with limited mobility.

Volunteers Needed for Salem Food Pantry
As part of our merger with Salem UMC, we are part of ensuring the continued success of the vital center-city ministry they began to provide a food pantry for those in need. But your help is needed!

The Salem Food Pantry is an Allentown food ministry providing fresh, locally grown, foods for people in need. Volunteers assist at the pantry on the first and third Fridays and Saturdays of each month. Fridays are preparation days, when food is unloaded, bagged, and readied; and Saturdays are when the pantry is open for foods to be picked up. The pantry needs 4-5 volunteers for each day. Able to help? Contact Lissette Lopez (484-860-4729) or Pastor Ruth Garay (484-744-4603).

Adult Inquirers (Membership) Classes
Want to learn more about the church?  At Asbury, we have a session called Adult Inquirers which gives people the opportunity to spend time with the staff, learn more about the church, our ministries, and possibly join the church (you're also welcome to take the class for informational purposes without becoming a full member).

The next session is being offered on Monday, August 9, at 6 PM. Location and schedule TBA.

Learn more about Adult Inquirers, register for the next session, and contact Laurie Wallace Theisen, Director of Lay Ministries at asburylv.org/adultinquirers.

Conregegational Chats to Be Held August 8
Mark your calendars for this check-in from Asbury's lay leadership. Details TBA.

Summer Drop-In Choir
Hasn't the choir been great? Did you know you can be a part of it this summer just by showing up and having a quick pre-service rehearsal? Just "drop-in" to the Chancel after the 9 AM service (about 10 AM) to rehearse. Participants may sit in the Chancel or with their families. Masks are optional. Music will be provided (usually a hymn). Come add your voice!

Please note that all on-site events are subject to to the continued approval of the church Trustees and Council, the Church being generally open for worship services, and/or state, federal and county government dictated COVID-19 requirements.
