A wall with the words change your clocks
SATURDAY NIGHT, CHANGE YOUR CLOCKS FORWARD!

Sunday Breakfast
Breakfast this coming Sunday, March 10, will be provided by guest chefs, Rip & Ann Phillips.

Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.

St. Luke's Music Series
Two events remain for the spring season:

Monday night , March 18 at 7:00, the Derby City Brass will present a concert.  Admission is free, please invite a friend!

Sunday, March 31 at 5:00 pm, we'll present a special service of Lenten Meditations and Carols, similar to the more familiar Christmas Lessons and Carols format.  This service is modeled after one sung at St. John's College, Cambridge.

Glenna Metcalf, Organist at Broadway Baptist Church, Louisville, will present an organ recital of Lenten music at 5:00 pm; then at 5:30 pm St. Luke's choir will present Lenten anthems paired with contemplative readings, both scriptural and poetic as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the salvation of the world.  Anthems by William Byrd, Antonio Lotti, Brench Boden, George Oldroyd and Cristobal de Morales, as well as familiar hymns will be sung.

This service will be a wonderful centering experience as we prepare for Holy Week and Easter at a lovely and quiet time of the day.

Please mark your calendars and save the dates for these two events and help us spread the word about St. Luke's wonderful concert series.

Usher Ministry Refresher
[NOTE: This message goes out to ALL. Please read entirety.]

You volunteered to be an usher! You're pretty sure you're on track for what the church expects!  Kirk Brandon and Bob LaMontagne are hosting a brief Usher refresher discussion after each of the Services during the weekend of March 9th and 10th.

These will be held in the church front rows immediately following each of the three services. They will lead a short discussion and hand out some relevant materials, including a new Usher Customary and a listing of all ushers and their contact information. Even if you're not an usher that weekend, please plan on joining us for a short session.

This is not an attempt to change usher duties. Just a chance to reinforce the activities.

If you've ever considered being part of the Usher Ministry, this would be a great way to see what's expected. No need to RSVP. Looking forward to seeing you.

Daughters of the King

Any lady interested in finding out more about our order and participating in the training, please let Chris Wilcox know - [email protected]
