Ralph L. Jefferies, 87, of Wadsworth passed away Sunday, September, 30, 2018. He was born November 3, 1930, on Akron to the late Helen Wiesner.
Mr. Jefferies was retired from Wadsworth Rittman Hospital, was the former owner of Wadsworth Sweeper Service, and was a former Auxiliary Police Officer in Wadsworth. Ralph was a member and former treasurer of the Wadsworth Lions Club and former member and treasurer of the Wadsworth F.O.P.A.
He is survived by his children: Sue (Dan) Freeman of Wadsworth, Jeff (Ron) Jefferies of Delaware, Sheryl Jefferies of Alabama and Linda (Dan) Riffe of Kentucky. There are 6 grandchildren: Angela (Craig), Adam, Danielle (Wesley), Megan (Ethan), Holly (Steven), Matt, 6 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way.
The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth. Interment service will be held 11am Thursday at the committal shelter in Woodlawn Cemetery.
