Sunday Breakfast
Breakfast this Sunday, March 8, will be provided by guest chefs, Rip & Ann Phillips.
   
The  "Celtic Christianity" discussion will begin on March 8th.  The Celtic Christianity discussion will be on the history, development, and spirituality of Celtic Christianity led by Dave Kirchinger.  
 
Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.  
   
Join us for a Bible Study for Beginners! 
Beginning on March 5th, join Mother Allison for a weekly study focusing on the foundations of the Biblical witness.

This study will take place every Thursday in Lent from 6:45 to 7:45 in Board Hall, concluding on April 2nd. All levels and ages are invited to participate, all materials (including coloring pages for little ones) will be provided.

For those who would like their own copy to follow along on the journey, we will be using The Path: A Journey Through the Bible; a limited number are available to be purchased for a suggested donation of $15.
 
Visitors & New Members 
All visitors and new members are invited to a casual dinner at the home of Celia and Brian Manlove at 6 PM on Sunday evening March 8.

The address is 2709 Anchor Way in Anchorage. If you were not able to attend the last dinner in September, please come in March.

Two Times the Fun! 
Centering Prayer is going from once a month, TWICE a month! Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday, March 10 and 24, 6pm to 7pm, in the Lyman House conference room. Plan to join us!!

Stations of the Cross & Soup/Salad Supper 
Daughters of the King will be holding a Soup Salad Supper at 6:30pm for the congregation following Stations of the Cross on Wednesday, March 11 at 6pm.

Everyone is invited for this annual event!

Memorial Easter Lilies 
If you would like to help beautify our church for Easter with Easter lilies, please pick up an Easter Memorial envelope and mail with a check for $11 each lily to the office or drop it into the offering plate. (please write 'Easter memorial' on the memo line of your check).

They are hardy for this climate and can be planted outside when they are finished blooming. The deadline for ordering is Sunday, March 29, in order to get your memorial in print.

Envelopes for the special memorials are located at both narthex entrance tables. The price per potted lily is $11.

Easter Music Memorials 
You may make a memorial donation to the St. Luke's music program (please write 'Music Memorial' on the memo line of your check).

The deadline for placing your memorial is Sunday, March 29, in order to get your memorial in print though you may make a donation at any time.

Envelopes for the special memorials are located at both narthex entrance tables.

Cardinal Brass 
Cardinal Brass will be bringing an exciting program of dynamic and engaging music from around the world.

You won't want to miss this concert, Monday, March 16, 7:30pm at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, now with the full band!

Admission is Free!

St. Luke's Book Club 
YOU ARE INVITED to St Luke's Book Club on March 18 at 7:00. We will be discussing a book drawn on new documents and genealogical research by Kate Clifford Larson, Bound for the Promised Land, Harriett Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero. Larson gives Tubman the powerful, intimate, meticulously detailed biography she deserves.
 
NEXT MEETING INFO: Lyman House, March 18, THIRD (3rd) Wednesday monthly at 7:00 PM for 2+- hours of rousing conversations and introductions to books of almost every genre. At the end of each meeting, we discuss books for the next month's selection, so bring your suggestions with you.
