Waterbury Downtown Businesses Sought for for Waterbury Harry Potter Day: July 30, 2021
Waterbury Harry Potter Day will be in its 3rd year when it returns to Waterbury’s downtown on Friday, July 30, 2021. This day-long event involves multiple businesses and institutions in creating a magical experience for attendees. After picking up a magic map from Minuteman Press, individuals can visit shops to enjoy butterbeer, wizarding menus, and pick up clues for the Wizard Quest scavenger hunt.  Silas Bronson will provide wand making as well as two fire-breathing magic shows, a sing-along, and other fun. Even The Mattatuck Museum is joining in with a daytime look at witches in fact & fiction as well as an evening, adult-focused look at spiritualism, mentalism and belief in the occult…offered by two local magicians.

  • We would love to invite other businesses to join in! We do not ask businesses to give money but simply offer for sale a product or service that is within their wheelhouse e.g. The Art of Yum offers a wizarding world menu for the day. This relationship is wonderful in that each business is creative and still true to its core!
