MCC bids farewell to Fr. Karl
On Wednesday, January 8, the community of MCC celebrated its first all-school Mass of the new year. Former chaplain Fr. Karl Bergin visited MCC to concelebrate with Fr. Vince and to say goodbye before he embarks to Bolivia to prepare for his future ministry with the Sister Diocese of Orlando. During this homily, Fr. Karl challenged the students to be attentive to God's voice in their lives and to stay open to where God might be leading them. It was a beautiful liturgy and a great start to our new year.

Day of Giving - The MCC Fund
Catholic Schools Week will soon be here! This annual celebration begins on January 26th. We take pride in providing students with a transformative education rooted in the academic tradition of excellence, leadership, and service to others. MCC graduates have a 99% acceptance rate to four-year colleges and universities.

Please consider giving to the MCC Fund on January 28-29. You will positively impact our school community by providing tuition assistance, contributing to campus upgrades, and ensuring our students continue to grow in knowledge and service to others. Your gift will make a difference at MCC today and tomorrow.
An Evening in the Greek Isles
Join us for an evening of fellowship, dinner, silent and live auctions and entertainment. This is our largest fundraiser and we hope to provide over $65,000 in monetary support for our school. To make this a success, we need a little help from a lot of people! Here are some ways you can make a difference:

  • Attend the event; tickets will soon be available
  • Donate baskets complete for auction or ready to fill
  • Donate silent or live auction items such as gift cards, tickets to athletic events, theater performances or theme parks, weekend getaways, artwork, liquor/wine collections

All donations are tax deductible and receipts are available. Items should be brought to Ms. Patterson in the Donovan Commons.

Questions, contact Ted Brunger, brungert@melbournecc.org or 727-0793 Ext. 302. Thank you for your support.
Hustler Baseball earns recognition as best of Brevard
321 Sportscast honored our Hustler Baseball program as the best of Brevard for the past decade! We congratulate Coach Dooley, his coaching staff and the many dedicated athletes that contributed to the legacy of our program.

Here's what 321 Sportscast had to say about Hustler Baseball.

Under the leadership of legendary manager Tom Dooley, the Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers won 209 of the 267 games they played during the past decade.

Baseball places a great deal of emphasis on winning percentage and the Hustlers .782 was one of the best anywhere.
