Students Selected for STEM Institute

Six RVCC students were selected to participate in Rider University's STEM Summer Institute in July. The free program was designed for community college students interested in pursuing a STEM-related major at a four-year institution. Participants who complete the program receive a $2,000 scholarship to Rider, renewable for up to three years, as long as they maintain the requisite GPA.

Students live in a residence hall on Rider's Lawrenceville campus and interact with Rider faculty during on-campus sessions and field trips. The STEM Summer Institute is limited to 20 community college students from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
