Women's Conference Webinar - March 12th

Women start businesses at a faster rate than men but sometimes have unique needs and challenges. One way to address these challenges is to host a Women's Conference. These conferences offer networking and educational opportunities for women entrepreneurs. By educating, empowering, and engaging women through energetic and open discussions, a Women's Conference can build community and give a chapter the opportunity to collaborate with other community partners. There is a huge demand for such conferences, and with SCORE taking a leadership role, you can be assured of success.

To learn more about planning a Women's Conference, sign up today for the Tips & Timeline for a Successful Women's Conference Webinar on March 12th at 2 PM ET presented  by SCORE Women's Committee.
Women Entrepreneurs Conference - SCORE Jacksonville

SCORE Jacksonville held a very successful women's conference on February 8th in Jacksonville, with around 237 attendees ( flyer attached). Pamela Starr from Google, the keynote speaker, shared some great advice on how to market your website and explained their current algorithms.  The women at the event were able to do a lot of networking and the feedback was excellent.

Congratulations to SCORE Jacksonville and everyone involved in the execution of this event.  A huge amount of work and effort goes into planning and running an event like this and it clearly paid off.
Field Leadership Webinars
The Field Leadership call for March will be held on
March 9th at Noon EST.  As usual, a recording of the call will be available shortly after.

Detailed Receipts
Itemized receipts from any restaurant for meals should be included on any expense reports. Bills being paid directly to the restaurant need to be itemized as well.  Any alcohol purchases need to be on a separate check with a separate receipt submitted

We will be sharing more information about this topic in the coming months.
SCORE Zoom Conferencing for Chapters
Did you know SCORE has Zoom accounts for chapters to use when hosting virtual meetings and conference calls? Many chapters are already using their Zoom account to host chapter meetings, committee discussions, and coordinate with other SCORE volunteers across the country.  Regional accounts are also available for RVPs and DDs.

Zoom has one-minute video instructions to help you get set up, and lots of other video tutorials right on their website.

If you need help accessing your chapter's zoom account, please reference our Support Center article on Zoom or contact Volunteer Services.
