Good Morning,

No, we aren't going to eat a real elephant this morning.  We are talking about tackling those jobs that seem too big and complicated for us or any one person to solve.

The trick is to, like eating the elephant, break it down into bite size chunks or steps and accomplish each, one at a time.  A example would be building a home.  It takes thousands of individual steps to complete and they must be done in order.  You need the land, the drawings, the permits and surveying before you even start.  You need walls before you add the roof.  You get the drift, the list of steps goes on and on.

When any task seems to difficult to tackle, don't panic.  Don't give up.  Break it down into small bite size steps and tackle them one at a time.  Suddenly you will look up and realize you really did eat the entire elephant and it wasn't that difficult.

Enjoy your week.

Jim
