A message from our Missions Pastor
Hey Legacy Family,
Once again, your giving has remained faithful and strong and we here in Legacy Missions want to say thank you! As we continue to pray for our giving to grow more, I do pray that the Lord blesses your faithfulness and your love for the advancement of the Gospel. As a matter of fact, you will see a video in the Celebrate the Wins section of this newsletter with an update on the “Children's Hunger Fund Food Pak Campaign.” This testimony of Legacy’s heart reminds me of Luke 9:10-17 where Jesus feeds the five thousand. I couldn’t help but feel grateful for Legacy Church, but mostly for a great God who challenges us to make such an impact in the settings around us.
Our prayer initiative countries will be updated June 21st. The new countries we will be focused on are Brazil, India, Israel, and Palestine. I know that Israel and Palestine are a hot topic at the moment, but as all people matter to God, all people matter to us. We need to take this opportunity to pray for the issues plaguing both Israel and Palestine. We must remember God is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance. That will be our focus, that the advancement of the Gospel will reach those in need of Him.
We also have some awesome opportunities for our hearts to continue being generous over the summer.

Our Real Options Baby Shower Campaign has items available to purchase for the seven mothers we committed to as a church. If you feel the leading of the Holy Spirit to give, please use our Amazon Baby Shower Online Registry. I believe we can make a big impact in the lives of these mothers as we show them that we are there for them in this time of need. Volunteers are needed as well, so don't forget to Sign-up!

Connect Camp gives us the opportunity to invite kids within our community. Spread the word to let families with kids know that something great is happening here at Legacy Church with Connect Camp.

We encourage everyone to buy school supplies during the summer so that we are ready for our Back to School outreach. More information is in our Missions Spotlight section of this newsletter.
I know summer is here and we are moving into a season where there are less restrictions. I want to encourage and challenge everyone not to forget the past two series taught here at Legacy: Identity.Mission.Impact. and Disciple: Be One, Make One. I believe we have an opportunity this summer to do these things because we know how easy it is to fall into the temptation to disengage. As we press towards the goal of what we believe God is calling us to do as a local church family, as you go on vacations or trips, or hangout with friends or family, remember our challenge is that all of us, myself included, stay on mission with the understanding that we need to make disciples.
As we begin summer my prayer is: “You Lord, guide us during this season to rest with our families with the ability to be missional. Help us to seize every opportunity to make disciples for Your Kingdom. Holy Spirit, we ask you to empower us, encourage us, lead us, use us, and shine your light of love through us so we can make an impact wherever we go. In Jesus' name, AMEN!
Blessings,
Patrick Iga
