The Greater Burlington Partnership is excited to partner with the Burlington Bees again this year! Main Street Challenge Grant for Downtown
Downtown Partners is seeking project proposals for the state funded Main Street Challenge Grant. The maximum grant award is $75,000 with a minimum 1:1 cash match required. The project must be downtown; work already begun is not eligible for funding. For application information, go to

What:
The Bees are gearing up for a spectacular week at the ballpark! August 7 is Kids Eat Free Wednesday, all kids 6 - 12 years old with paid student admission. August 8 is Optimist's Club Back-to-School Bash, the first 100 kids ages 6 - 17 will get a free ticket and food voucher to the game - plus enjoy carnival games and get entered to win prizes.
August 9 is Big Fun Friday with specials. August 10 is Kick-off To College Football and Greater Burlington Partnership Fireworks Night with specialty football replica jerseys being auctioned off, and post-game fireworks. August 11 is Community Basket Day - which has more winners this year - and August 12 is Dollar Monday with specials.

New Schedule of Performance for Burlington Civic Music Association
What: This summer's flooding and resultant damage to Burlington Memorial Auditorium has forced the Burlington Civic Music Association to delay the debut of its 90th season of artistry on the river. The new schedule of performances is: Le Cirque Esprit on October 15, The Four Italian Tenors on November 4, Fandango! on January 8 (performance will take place as scheduled at The Capitol Theater), Russian National Ballet on February 15, A Cappella Live! on March 31, Sultans of String on April 21, The Texas Tenors on May 15.

Japanese Culture Program at Sunnybrook Assisted Living
