CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
Week of June 7
Construction of the SR 60/Archibald Avenue project is more than 90% complete. Crews are installing irrigation and landscaping at the SR 60 on- and off-ramps and finalizing work on the concrete median on Archibald Avenue. There will be intermittent daytime and nighttime lane closures as crews finish paving on Archibald Avenue.

Beginning at 8:00 p.m. tonight (Friday, June 4) through 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7 the northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) inside lanes on Archibald Avenue will be closed between the westbound and eastbound SR 60 on- and off-ramps. Two-way travel will remain on Archibald Avenue. There will be no left turns on to Archibald Avenue from the westbound and eastbound off-ramps. Detour: turn right on to Archibald Avenue, proceed to the next intersection, and make a u-turn.

Beginning Tuesday, June 8 through Friday, June 11 the SR 60 on- and off-ramps will be closed intermittently from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. for crews to remove k-rail and perform final paving of the ramps. More than one ramp will not be closed at the same time. Detour routes will be posted and include using S. Vineyard Avenue or S. Haven Avenue westbound and eastbound SR 60 on- and off-ramps.
Landscape irrigation being installed on the eastbound on-ramp.

ABOUT THE SR 60/ARCHIBALD AVENUE PROJECT
In an effort to improve traffic operations along Archibald Avenue, SBCTA is making improvements on Archibald Avenue between East Oak Hill Drive and Monticello Place near the SR 60 interchange. The project will reconfigure the ramps on SR 60 at Archibald Avenue as well as widen Archibald Avenue to increase the left turn capacity. This project will also improve traffic operations and reduce congestion at the interchange.

Please remember construction is dynamic and the schedule is subject to change.
