HELLO FRIENDS AND PARTNERS!
The Wyoming County EDA wishes you a happy, fun and safe summer!
WCEDA Breaks $9,000,000 Mark in Loans Closed

The Wyoming County EDA is known as having one of the most successful loan programs throughout the State of WV, but has now broke another record.  The lending programs available at the EDA have now broke the $9,000,000 mark in loans closed!  Most loans lent from our agency range from $15,000-$35,000 each, proof that this has been no small feat!  This accomplishment would not be possible without the diligent work completed on a daily basis by our Administrative Assistant for Loan Programs, Mrs. Laura Roberts-Lambert.  We would also like to take a moment to thank our Loan Committee for their efforts in making our loan program so successful!

We now look forward to breaking the $10,000,000 mark on loans closed in Southern WV and across our beautiful state!

SWEEP Grant Funding Available

Through partnership between the Wyoming County EDA and the WV Department of Energy, the Southern West Virginia Energy Efficiency Program (SWEEP) can help small building and business owners by helping them streamline the process to become energy efficient.

Loan funding for energy efficiency upgrade projects will be provided to credit worthy applicants who complete an energy assessment as required by SWEEP, through the Wyoming county EDA.  The loan will then be repaid by savings from the energy efficiency improvements.

If you would like to learn more about the process of applying for SWEEP funds,
Another Visit Wyoming County Days has unfolded and it proved to be another successful year!  Events took place across the county from June 21 - 23 with car shows, horse shows, helicopter rides, kayak races, music and more.  We had a wonderful turn out of area residents and from those just visiting our beautiful communities.  Follow the link below for pictures from this fun-filled weekend!

2019 Loan Program Status

It is the Wyoming County EDA's mission to partner, not compete, with lending institutions and other funding sources to maximize the loans that can be leveraged by small businesses in our communities.

However, we also understand that sometimes there are funding gaps not addressed by these institutions. In order to provide the capital that small businesses need to start and grow in Southern West Virginia, the WCEDA oversees five loan funds geared towards filling these needs.

We take pride in these achievements, and look forward to watching new companies grow and serve our communities!
