CILDRC Updates:

Our telephone outreach and assessments continue. We have spoken to multiple individuals in our community. Many times we encounter people who are battling loneliness from social isolation. Our CIL team member, Susan, reported how proud she was after speaking to an individual yesterday. The individual shared how happy she was that we called her because it made her feel cared for and connected. Others are facing food insecurity and we have linked them to programs that are distributing food. We are reminded daily of the need for various resources that are in short supply. (If we haven't reached you yet and you don't feel you need to connect with CILDRC directly, please reply to this email and type "I AM OKAY" in the body.)

Please contact us if you need information, assistance, or someone to talk to for support. Staff will continue to be available by phone and email, managing day to day activities by appointment and remotely during our normal business hours 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. You can reach us by calling 850-595-5566 or by emailing info@cil-drc.org.
Updates from the IRS
Millions of Americans have already received their Economic Impact Payments (Payments) authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) continues to calculate and automatically send the Payments to most eligible individuals, however some individuals may have to provide additional information to the IRS to get their Payments. For the most recent updates about Economic Impact Payments, visit the IRS Website Economic Impact Payment Information Center .
