Clarkson Road North - Closure at Tracks - MAY 2020
Please be advised that Metrolinx is proceeding with the Regional Express Rail transit project which includes electrification of the line. As a result, utilities along the corridor must be moved. In Ward 2, Clarkson Road North will be closed at the railway tracks starting on/about May 4th for 6 weeks so Alectra can move their electrical equipment. Notices to nearby residents and signage will be put up indicating traffic detours in the area. I recognize that closing a main road in the neighbourhood is never ideal but Metrolinx needs to get this done and its probably best to do so when there is a reduced amount of traffic and kids aren’t in school. When I get more information, I will share accordingly.
Rehabilitation Erin Mill Parkway from Sheridan Park Drive to south of Highway 403
Road resurfacing on Erin Mills Parkway from south of Hwy 403 to south of Dundas Street will start the week of May 3rd (weather permitting).
Traffic Impacts - milling and paving operations will be phased so as to minimize disruption to traffic. However, due to the nature of the work, lane closures will be required and left turning movements and intersections maybe temporarily blocked while work progresses.

Work will be done during daytime and nighttime hours. Some work may also need to be done on Saturdays and Sundays. Extended working hours may be inconvenient but will speed up completion of the project.
